So - today I want to give here a small tutorial on how a CCcam Oscam and / or NewCamd server is installed with Debian and IPC.
This guide describes the basic installation and setup of Debian Lenny 5.x, in preparation for the installation of the IPC (CCcam / OScam / NewCS server installation package).
For the setup of the IPC an Internet connection is required.
Hardware Requirements:
CPU: Geode, Pentium
RAM: at least 128MB Ram
HDD: 4GB from (possible CF, HDD is recommended)
LAN: compatible network card
USB: USB ports for Smargo Reader
System requirements:
Debian Lenny 5.x is supported, nothing else!
If no installation of NETINST disk is possible, inspect whether the required packages are installed.
Contents:
1 Debian base installation
2 Install Packages
3 Network Configuration
4 Language and Keyboard
5 IPC installation
6 Allegmeines
1 Debian Installation (base system and webserver)
Debian:
- Download the ISO images of NETINST http://www.debian.org/CD/netinst/ (32bit = i386 / amd64 = 64bit!)
- ISO file to CD burning (Nero, Burnaware)
- From the CD drive to boot (BIOS Setting)
Points during installation:
- Chose a option: Install
- Choose Language: Any
- Choose Country: Any
- Layout: Any
- Host Name: Any example: cccam, oscam, hansi ..
- Domain Name: Any example: DynDNS name or leave it blank
- Partition method: Guided - use entire disk
- Partition scheme: All files in one partition
Finish partitioning and write changes = Yes
- Time Zone: Any
- Root Password: Any note or remember!
- Full name of user: cccam is removed after installation anyway ..
- User name for account: cccam
- Password for user: cccam
- Mirrors: Any Take a mirror from your country ..
+ + TIP! Software selection can be selected by pressing the space key to the TAB key to move weiterzuspringen is used.
- Software: NOTHING (deselect all!) Do not install any packages!
Use entire hard disk - Led - partitioning
- Master Boot Record and Grub: YES
After the system is restarted, the basic installation is complete.
Register by the reboot of the console as user "root".
First, it is recommended "cccam" to delete the additional user specified during setup.
[Deluser cccam - remove-all-files]
2 Install packages:
In point1 as only a "naked" Debian has been installed, it is now necessary to install some packages.
Packets to a erleichetern the handling of the system are needed on the other by the IPC.
+ + TIP! Meanwhile, the IPC can also setup scripts assume the installation of all packages!
Initially, it is usually sufficient to install the SSH server so that the administration can be done via PUTTY,
Installing the SSH server to start with:
[Apt-get install-y openssh-server]
+ + TIP! We then let the rest of the setup scripts in section 5 take care of ![]()
The packages:
1 Basic packages:
[Apt-get install-y openssh-server nano-dialogue-less locales console-tools console-data console-common rsyslog logrotate]
2 Webserver:
[Apt-get install-y apache2 libapache2-mod-php5 php5-cli php5-common php5-cgi]
3 Optional packages:
[Apt-get install-y locate htop lm-sensors ncftp send mail libpcsclite1]
3 Network Configuration
-> Setting the IP address:
[Nano / etc / network / interfaces]
Here is filling in the following (IP addresses are adapting own circumstances!)
TOP *** ***
# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
# The primary network interface
allow-hotplug eth0
# DHCP
# Iface eth0 inet dhcp
# STATIC
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.10
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.1
END **** ****
When finished then close and save. [Ctrl] + [x], then [y] and [ENTER]
-> Setting the name server: (Here enter the best router address)
[Nano / etc / resolv.conf]
TOP *** ***
nameserver 192.168.1.1
END **** ****
When finished then close and save. [Ctrl] + [x], then [y] and [ENTER]
-> Network restart:
[/ Etc / init.d / networking restart]
-> Test Network function:!
Does a PING to the router address?
Does a PING to an external IP address?
Does a PING to an external URL or the name is resolved?
If problems occur at this, look for config files (interfaces, resolv) again.
IMPORTANT: The config files not forgive the slightest typo, look closely!
4 Language and Keyboard
After Debian installation (no matter what language is selected) UTF-8 standard.
It should be tested whether the üöä umlauts are displayed correctly in the nano editor.
+ + TIP: Debian just leave the default settings, put a putty to UTF-8.
-> Set Putty correctly
If in Debian UTF-8 is enabled:
Window -> Translation -> CharacterSet -> Set UTF-8.
Thus, in the Puttysession the numeric keys work:
Terminal -> Features -> Enable Disable application keypad mode.
-> Optional: Customize Debian language and keyboard settings:
[Dpkg-reconfigure locales] choice of language
[Dpkg-reconfigure console-data] choice of keyboard layout
[Exit] Log out of the console, login, and concludes:
[Dpkg-reconfigure console common && dpkg-reconfigure console Tools]
+ + TIP: After the installation of the IPC which is faster: (alias commands)
[Tastatur1]
[Tastatur2]
[Exit]
[Tastatur3]
If an error message appears missing the console tools: apt-get install console-tools
-> Debian update: (demand with [Y] or [ENTER])
apt-get update && apt-get upgrade + + TIP: A [apt-get update] should always be executed before package installation.
Thus, the source catalog is updated.

Update to a later version of the IPC can also be done by entering [ipc update].
After installation, you can access the website of the IPC.
Default username and password for website is: cccam (If by [ipc cfg] to change!)
On the edge:
Installation and update are the same, the previous setup is based on existing CCcam.cfg
recognized when beihalten the configuration of the directory / var / etc and / var / keys is maintained.
If IPC version number does not change also various configuration files ![]()
6 General, Tips
+ + Tip: Refrain from WinSCP, Putty to get used to, and the Bash Console! It performs no way around it anyway ![]()
The first step after the installation you should read the Help on the administration page to be.

axa4. net / ipc server is dead?
The LINK currently down. The project will probably continue in the future elsewhere. News you will find once that are available, of course, here on dBoxen.de!
IPC is again at the URL http://ipc.pebkac.at/ipc/ipcsetup.sh available.
lt axa4.net on 02/03/2011: "IPC is dead on comes no more, sorry."
Comment from a 'contributors':
"Unfortunately, the package has been increasingly used for the purpose of Payservern as this really was not the purpose of the creator of the project we thus. "
What a pity! We can look forward to the successor.
